Sachin Tendulkar heaps praise on Jason Holder

The current West Indian captain in the longer format of the game Jason Holder is the #1 all rounder in the world as far as red ball cricket is concerned. He has quietly made an impact through his all round abilities but always has been under the radar. Here’s what Sachin had to say about the #1 all rounder.

Jason Holder is the most under-rated all-rounder, because on the field, maybe you will look at Kemar Roach or Shannon Gabriel, but Jason Holder only when you look at the scoreboard, you realise that he has come in and taken three wickets

Jason Holder has taken a staggering 53 wickets from 11 tests since 2018 at an mind boggling average of 14 which is the best for any West Indian bowler in this period. He also has scored 680 runs at an average of 43 in this period which makes him the best all rounder in the world

“When he is batting, he has scored those crucial 50-55 runs when it mattered, he is an underrated player but he contributes on a regular basis, he is a terrific player to have in your team,” Sachin added

Sachin places Stokes in the elite list of all rounder!

England have produced 2 of the magnificent all rounders in tests cricket in Ian Botham and Andrew Flintoff. There is no doubt that Ben Stokes will surpass both the aforementioned all rounders in terms of impact and reputation by the time he retires. When speaking about Ben Stokes, the master blaster said,

For Ben Stokes from what he has been through in the recent past to where he is today it is a total transformation and it can happen only to someone who is mentally strong. When I first looked at him a few years ago, I could see his body language it was so positive and vibrant and that energy is infectious
