The fearless and iconic all-rounder from Pakistan in Shahid Afridi names his all time world cup XI in which he didn’t picked the highest run scorer in this format of the game in Sachin Tendulkar which has shocked the fans across the world.

The two time world cup winning team in India has produced arguably the greatest ODI batter of all time in Sachin Tendulkar. There is no record that hasn’t been broken by Sachin Tendulkar with respect to batting. As a matter of fact, Sachin has a whopping 49 centuries in this format alone which shows the greatness of this man.

Shahid Afridi picks a Pakistan heavy team

Pakistan were a dangerous side in the 1990s and they could have easily had 2 more world cups more than what they have now. They had one of the greatest bowling pair in cricket history in Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.

They were the favorites to win the 1996 and 1999 world cup as they had a terrific team on paper. There were no shortage of talent in their team. They had the likes of Saeed Anwar, Inzamam-ul-haq, Abdul Razzaq who were all one of the all time greats of Pakistan cricket.

The only question though is their place in an all time world cup XI but Shahid Afridi had doubts in picking the team as he picked as many as 5 Pakistan players in an all time world cup XI.

Virat Kohli finds a place in the Afridi’s team

Any cricket expert would want Virat Kohli in their team in the 50 overs format of the game and Shahid Afridi is no different as he picked Virat Kohli as his premier no:4 batsman, although leaving out AB de Villiers raised a few eyebrows, he made it up by picking the legendary all-rounder in Jacques Kallis.
