The modern colossus and the next big thing in the Indian cricket in Shubman Gill is the most anticipated player by the Indian cricket fraternity in the near future. The stylish right handed batsman hasn’t played much of games at the highest level but his consistent run in the domestic and list A matches earned him a big reputation.

The 20 year old child prodigy burst into the scene after India’s successful U19 campaign under the able leadership of Prithvi Shaw. Ever since his match winning century against the arch rivals Pakistan in the semi final of the U19 world cup in 2018, Shubman Gill has been the talk of the town.

When asked about his favorite foreign player, Shubman Gill said the name of 2 time world cup winning captain and one of the legendary player to have come out from Australia ever in Ricky Ponting.

 

When asked about his experience of batting with the big guy in Andre Russell in IPL, Shubman Gill had an interesting answer to say.

He also praised his franchise captain Dinesh Karthik as a good leader and also said that their owner Shah Rukh Khan backs them irrespective of the result.
