Northern Warriors are in good form and have won their last two encounters by a margin of 8 wickets and 99 runs. In the last match, They defeated Maratha Arabians in a 9-over match. Bowling first, Hardus Viljoen and Wahab Riaz starred with the ball taking three and two wickets respectively to restrict Arabians at 94 in 9 overs. Nicholas Pooran once again played a brilliant knock of 62 runs in 24 balls to provide an easy win to the team. They will hope to continue the momentum ahead in a crucial stage of the tournament.

Team Sindhis lost their last encounter against Pakhtoons by 8 runs. Bowling first, Ben Cutting and Jofra Archer took two scalps each to restrict Pakhtoons at 137 runs. Chasing the target, Shane Watson got a start but did not get enough support from another end. Later, Thisara Perera played a breathtaking cameo of 47 runs in 13 balls but could not provide a much-needed win to his side. They will hope to outplay the warriors and register their first win in qualifier stage.

A good match can be expected between both teams.

Fawad Ahmed can also get a chance in place of Mohammad Nawaz.

Thisara Perera, Ben Cutting and Jofra Archer will lead the pace attack. Pravin Tambe will be the key spinner.

Team can also give a chance to Denesh Ramdin replacing UAE’s wicket-keeper Ghulam Shabeer and can bring UAE’s Ahmed Raza in bowling department.

Northern Warriors:

They are likely to go with same playing XI. However, Place of Amitoze Singh can be risky and team can try any other option. Chances of same are less as he is yet to get a chance with bat for the team.

N Pooran and L Simmons will open for the side. A Russell and R Bopara will play role of allrounders.

Imran Haider and Chris Green will lead the spin attack while Hardus Viljoen, Wahab Riaz and Andre Russell will be the key pacers along with R Bopara.
