Hello and Welcome to our preview for Somerset vs Nottingham Quarter-final match. We are covering SOM VS NOT Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the T20 match. The match is to be played at County Ground, Taunton.

Notts ended on fourth position in North Group points table with eight wins and six losses. They have won their last three matches on-a-go and will be eager to continue their winning streak. In last match, A Hales and T Moores played good knocks with bat easily chasing the total while all bowlers in unison bowled good spells. A similar performance will be expected from all the players.

Somerset finished right at the top of South Group points table with ten wins and four losses. Their 7-match win streak finally ended in last match against Kent. They lost the match by 5 runs. S Davies, J Hildreth and L Gregory shined with the bat while M Waller and J Taylor took two scalps each. They will hope to win today’s match and reach Semi-final.

An exciting encounter can be expected between two highly-ranked teams.

Nottingham:

They announced 14-member squad.

No changes are expected in the playing XI. Daniel Christian will lead the side. He will play the role of finisher and also bowl few overs. A Hales, R Wessels, J Libby, T Moores, S Mullaney, S Patel and D Christian will be the key batsmen.

I Sodhi and M Carter will lead the spin attack along with S Patel. L Fletcher, H Gurney, D Christian and S Mullaney will be the key pace bowlers. All are in good form.

Somerset:

They also announced 14-man squad for the quarter final.

L Gregory will be assessed before the match. If not fit, D Bess can replace him in the playing XI.  S Davies, J Hildreth, C Anderson, J Myburgh and P Trego will be the key batsmen. J Hildreth and C Anderson remained in form throughout the series.

M Waller and R Van Der Merwe will lead the spin attack. M Waller is bowling brilliantly in every match. J Taylor and J Overton will lead the pace attack. Both are in lethal form. 

Somerset are still without Tim Groenewald (groin) and Lewis Gregory will be assessed ahead of the match.

Somerset finished top of the South Group after claiming 20 points from 14 games whilst Notts Outlaws were fourth in the North Group after securing 16 points from their 14 fixtures.
