Sussex lost their last match against Hampshire in a thrillingly close-fought encounter. Sussex batted first and fell like imbalanced blocks after a good start. Opener Luke Wright scored a half-century and number three Harry Finch scored a ton but no one else supported them. The bowling almost defended 250 but a late surge from Hampshire denied them.
