The name Mohammed Azharuddeen is in the headlines once again in the cricket world and this time it is not about the former Indian captain from Hyderabad. This new Mohammed Azharuddeen is from Kerala and first, it was his incredible batting in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy that went viral and now it is his unique bucket list that has gone viral.

Benz, IPL and World Cup; Azharuddeen’s unique bucket list

M Azharuddeen shot to fame when he smashed a stunning hundred in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Mumbai. He made 137 runs off 54 balls to chase a mammoth total. And now he is once again in the news and this time not for his batting but for his bucket list.

Young cricketers are known to have big aspirations and unique dreams. But Azharuddeen’s ambitions are truly unique. The 26-year-old has written his dreams on a bucket list and the photo of the list appeared in the regional language newspaper. And now the picture has gone viral.

Mohammed Azharuddeen has noted five goals in the bucket list. IPL,4 hundreds in Ranji season, Own House, Benz, and 2023 World Cup are his goals.

The youngster wants to own a house and a Mercedes Benz. In terms of cricket, he wants to score 4 hundreds in a Ranji season. The competition for India’s national team is too fierce and Azharuddeen knows that scoring a hundred in a Ranji game won’t give him any recognition. Thus he could be looking forward to making 4 hundreds in a single season. He also aims to play in the IPL, but his biggest aim is to feature in the 2023 World Cup.

Hundred and a zero: Azharuddeen’s roller-coaster ride

After smashing a stellar hundred against Mumbai, Azharuddeen rose to fame and cricket fans looked forward to his next match. However, in the next match against Delhi, he was out on a duck on the very first ball.

Thus, the right-hand batsman has experienced the highs and lows of cricket in just a couple of days.
