Kerala have managed to assemble a very good squad this time around and they were playing an attacking brand of cricket which their skipper Sanju Samson is known for. Kerala, by no means were grouped with a bunch of ordinary teams. They had Mumbai, Delhi, and Haryana like excellent sides in their group and still, they managed to upset top teams is something that has impressed every cricket lover.

Sreesanth’s love for leg spin

Kerala were asked to bat first by Andhra Pradesh and they bowled pretty well by dismissing the aggressive openers in Robin Uthappa and Mohammad Azharuddin pretty early in the innings.

Kerala managed to post only 112 runs in their full quota of 20 overs which was never going to be enough to defend. Kerala bowlers tried everything but couldn’t restrict the Andhra batsmen and that was when S Sreesanth tried to bowl leg spin as the pitch was conducive to spin bowling. The video went viral in social media as well.

Will Sreesanth’s dream come true?

The fiery fast bowler who is playing his first competitive cricket after 7 odd years was operating with the same aggression which he had years ago. He has also said that his dream is to play for India again before he retires.

It will not be an easy task to break into the Indian setup as the talent depth and the competition is immense. It will take some patience and perseverance from the world cup winner Sreesanth to see his dream come true. He has been taken for runs in this tournament but he can still redeem himself as Kerala have qualified for the next round.
