TOL vs ATL Dream11 Match Preview: Toluca will be taking on Atlas for their 10th game in the Liga Mexico as both clubs look to climb higher up the table. Toluca is currently 15th in the league with 10 points with two wins, four draws and three defeats. As for Atlas, their recent form has been horrific to say the very least. Atlas is second to last in the league with six points and have lost five games on the bounce. With both team’s struggling to find form, a win for either club can affect the confidence levels going ahead.
Date-Sunday, March 15
Kick-Off- 11:30 PM (IST)
Venue- Estadio Nemesio Diez
Though Toluca has won just one of their last five league fixtures, they have impressed in their previous two games without a defeat. A 2-0 win against Monterrey followed by a 1-1 draw at Queretaro suggests that the manager Jose Manuel de la Torre will go with a similar playing eleven. Alfredao Talavera will be expected to be in at goal, while Luis Donaldo Hernandez, Jonathan Maidana, Adrian Mora and Anibal Chara form the line of defence. William and Javier Guemez could feature in central midfield. Felipe Pardo, Leonardo Fernandez and Giovanny Leon should be available in the advanced role, with Michael Estrada likely to start up top.
Atlas will look to change things up after a poor start to the season. No other team has lost more games at home this season as they’ve managed to lose seven of their nine matches in the league so far. Hugo Nervo will be on the sidelines after being sent off in last week, whereas, Jesus Angulo and Anderson Santamaria are both out of contention as a result of injuries. That being said, Jose Abella, Diego Barbosa, German Conti and Ismael Govea are likely to feature in defence. Edson Rivera, Luciano Acosta and Marcelo Correa should start further up front, while Ignacio Jeraldino is likely to be in charge of attack.
TOL (Expected Playing 11)-Alfredo Talavera; Luis Donaldo Hernandez, Jonathan Maidana, Adrian Mora, Anibal Chala; William, Javier Guemez; Felipe Pardo, Leonardo Fernandez, Giovanny Leon; Michael Estrada
ATL (Expected Playing 11)- Camilo Vargas; Jose Abella, Diego Barbosa, German Conti, Ismael Govea; Angel Marquez, Lorenzo Reyes; Edson Rivera, Luciano Acosta, Marcelo Correa; Ignacio Jeraldino
Leonardo Fernandez has been one of the standouts for Toluca from midfield. The 21-year-old has six goals from nine appearances this season and having him in the Dream11 Match Prediction side could earn the user some valuable points.
Ignacio Jeraldino can pack a punch in the attacking front for Atlas. Jeraldino has bagged two goals from the fist nine matches in the league this season.
Michael Estrada can be pivotal in the final third for Toluca. The centre-forward has scored two goals from two full time starts, while also coming off the bench on five different occasions this season. Estrada’s presence in the today match prediction side can earn the user a decent amount of points.
Atlas’ poor run of form only suggests that Toluca are the favourites heading into the fixture.
