3. KL Rahul – 110* runs vs West Indies

KL Rahul is the 2nd-only batsmen to score 2 T20I centuries for India. On 27th August 2016, India were up against West Indies in the first game of the T20I series. Batting first, West Indies posted a huge total of 245/6 and India chances looked bleak. While chasing the total, the stylish batsman from Karnataka went on to score a century off 46 deliveries and played an innings of 110 runs not out off just 51 deliveries. However, it was not enough for a win as India lost the game by just 1 run. This knock of KL Rahul is placed 3rd in the top 5 highest scores by India batsmen in T20Is.

2. Rohit Sharma – 111* runs vs West Indies

On 6th November 2018, India were playing the 2nd T20I of the series against West Indies. India had to bat first and Indian vice-captain in the white-ball cricket opened the innings alongside his fellow-opener Dhawan. Sharma went on to blast the Caribbean bowling and scored 111 runs unbeaten off 61 deliveries. India posted a total of 195/2 and won the game by 71 runs.

1. Rohit Sharma – 118 runs vs Sri Lanka

Who other than the Hitman would top the chart? On 22nd November 2017, Rohit Sharma went on to blast his favorite opponents, Sri Lanka, in the 2nd T20I of the series. India were batting first and Rohit opened the innings alongside KL Rahul. Rohit went berserk and scored a century off just 35 deliveries. He also equalled David Miller’s record of the fastest centuries in the T20Is in the process. The Hitman got out after scoring 118 runs off just 43 deliveries including 10 sixes. India posted a giant score of 260/5 and won the game by 88 runs. This historic knock of Rohit Sharma also tops the list of the Top 5 Highest Scores by India Batsmen in T20Is.
