USA and UAE will face each other again in a 6 match ODI series, after the successful end of 2 matches T20 series in UAE. In T20 series both the teams showed that they are not less than each other although the maiden T20 got abandoned due to rain, in 2nd T20 both the teams showed a cracking game of T20.
UAE has the experience of playing some of the biggest teams in the world like Afghanistan, Netherlands, and Irelands in the ICC championships, but no one had expected such a great performance from the USA. In 2nd T20 UAE posted a mammoth total of 182 runs and in return, the USA tried hard to get off
the target but they remained shot of 24 runs and lost the T20 series by 24 runs.
Now coming to this 6 match ODI series the first match is going to be played tomorrow in Dubai at 10:30 am. Being the host crowd might be a factor that will come to support the UAE team but the USA is also looking strong and would be looking forward to turning the tables on their side by winning this series.
UAE is being led by Mohammed Naveed under the likes of experienced players like Shaiman Anwar, Rohan Mustafa and Ashfaq Ahmed. UAE batting looks more dominant in terms of experience but as we know in this game anything can happen at any point in time. The bowling department is expected to be led by Sultan Ahmed who took 3 wickets in the series decider of the T20 series and Mohammed Naveed
alongside Zahoor Khan.
USA is being led by Saurabh Netravelkar, who is also again a bowler. He is one of the best bowlers in this side of USA who can change the game on his own and UAE might play a bit defensively against this bowler who took 2 wickets at an economy of 7 in the T20 decider which is very good if we talk about a T20 match. There is a problem in the batting line up of this team as they are not able to perform in a group. There top order and middle order which consist of JS Malhotra, MD Patel, SR Taylor, and XM
Marshall have to play some sensible cricket so that they can put a defendable total on the scoreboard for the bowlers to defend. Although Marshall showed his form by playing a knock of 49 runs in the last match of the T20 series. It is likely to be expected he should play the same in this ODI series.
