WATCH: Jimmy Anderson bowls a beauty to dismiss Shan Masood

English pacer James Anderson bowled an absolute peach of a delivery to dismiss Pakistan opener Shan Masood during the 2nd Test. England are up against Pakistan for the 2nd test in the 3-game series started on Thursday at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.

James Anderson provided England with an early breakthrough’

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first during the 2nd Test against England. With a hope to build a solid opening stand, openers Abid Ali and Shan Masood waled in to bat. The legendary duo of Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad was given the new ball duties by the skipper Joe Root. The great Jimmy didn’t disappoint his skipper as he got the new ball talking and accounted for the wicket of Shan Masood. It was a vital wicket for the English side as Masood scored a brilliant century during the first innings of the last game.

James Anderson bowled an absolute jaffa during the 3rd over of the Pakistan innings. It was the 2nd delivery of the over and Anderson landed it on a perfect length. It was a full-length delivery, swinging late and caught Masood plumb in front of wickets prodding forward in defence. As soon as the delivery hits the pads of Masood, it was death-bell for the opener.

Pakistan and England are meeting for the 2nd time in the 3-match series. It is a crucial game for both sides, especially for Pakistan. While England are looking to seal the series after winning the first test, Pakistan would be looking to force the series decider after winning this one. England managed to win the first test by 3 wickets after chasing most of the game. It was a heartbreaking loss to the Pakistani side and they would look to dust them off and come hard at England one more time.
