Watch: Shreyas Iyer shows his dance moves in supreme swag in the quarantine

One thing that was haunting the Indians over the past 6 years is the #4 position. For once, it seemed like the problem will become a never ending one as India tried almost all the consistent players from the domestic circuit but no one seemed to fit into the role.

One of the main reasons that the team management didn’t retain Sanjay Bangar as the batting coach is he couldn’t able to identify a perfect no:4 batsman for India in his tenure which turned out to be a huge blackmark in his coaching career.

New star in the town!

The skipper of the Delhi Capitals and the talented right hand batsman in Shreyas Iyer has been enjoying his quarantine days in a safe but entertaining manner. He has a very cool and calm head on his shoulders and that was visible when he captained the young and fearless Delhi Capitals in the Indian premier league.

He has been having a gala time as well maintaining a safe social distance during this tough period due to covid-19.
He was also seen outfoxing his dog Betty with a small magic trick.

The new no:4 is here to stay for a long time!

Over the years, India always had the best #4 batsman with the likes of Mohammad Azharuddin, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh but in the last few years especially after the disappearance of Yuvraj Singh, India couldn’t able to zero in on a perfect no:4 batsman. It is also fair to say that the Indian team composition got hampered big time due to that no:4 spot in the world cup last year.

It seems like India have finally found their permanent no:4 batsman in Shreyas Iyer and his performance speaks for itself.
