Watch: Suresh Raina plays cricket with family at home during lockdown

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina is spending his time during the lockdown by playing cricket at home. In the latest video posted by the CSK, he could be seen playing cricket with the kids inside the home.

The IPL 2020 has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the cricketers are forced to confine inside their houses. However, it could not stop the out-of-favour batsman from playing cricket.

The World-Cup winner decided to get his dose of cricket staying inside the house. Raina was seen playing cricket in the corridors with kids as his adorable daughter Gracia donned the umpiring hat. The Chennai-based IPL franchise CSK posted the video on their Twitter account captioning – “Pure tit-for-tat gully cricket scenes in Raina household!”

Raina aids PM Relief Fund

As the nation continues to fight the deadly pandemic COVID-19, Suresh Raina comes ahead to and pledged a donation of 52 lakh INR to combat the disease which has already claimed more than 110 lives and affected more than 4000 people in the nation.

Raina pledged to transfer 31 lakh INR to PM’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM-CARES Fund) and further 21 lakh INR to UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund.

What’s Next for Suresh Raina?

The left-handed batsman was looking forward to the IPL 2020 as he was all set to represent Chennai Super Kings under the leadership of none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The tournament was supposed to be crucial for ‘Chinna Thala’ as it was his last chance to build his case to make a return to the national side. A good season for Raina could bring him back in the reckoning for the T20 World Cup 2020. However, the BCCI decided to suspend the tournament due to the coronavirus outbreak.
