One of the biggest highlights of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21 is the comeback of pace bowler S Sreesanth. He is representing Kerala in this tournament. Although he has bowled decently in this tournament, it is his jersey number that has grabbed the attention so far. The pace bowler is sporting the number ‘369’ on his jersey and fans are wondering the reason behind choosing this number.

Sreesanth explains the reason behind the jersey number ‘369’

Sreesanth opened up about his dreams and his future plans during his exclusive interview with ETV Bharat. He also revealed the reason behind using the jersey number ‘369’. He said that this time he will be wearing jersey number 369 instead of 36. He explained that 9 is because his daughter Srisanvika was born on May 9 and Srisanvika means Lakshmi. The pacer further added that everyone knows his wife’s name, Bhuvneshwari Kumari is called at home ‘Nayan’. So it sounds like 9. So this is the reason he has decided to wear jersey number 369.

Sreesanth hits the timber on his comeback

Earlier in the tournament, Sreesanth made a roaring comeback to competitive cricket as he castled a batsman in his first match. And that wicket made him emotional.
