George Worker has replaced T Southee in the New Zealand squad for the 1st Test. Southee waits for the birth of his first child. New Zealand already added Lockie Ferguson as cover for Southee and he will stay with the squad.

BJ Watling is not fit so Tom Bundell added in the squad in palace of him.

Westindies : 

Sunil Ambris scored an impressive 153 against New Zealand A four days back so that he can debut.
