AFG vs SL Fantasy Tips

  • Charith Asalanka scored 62 runs in the opening match of the Asia Cup. He has done well against Afghanistan in the last series.
  • Matheesha Pathirana picked up four wickets and is an excellent death bowler. His fantasy potential increases a lot keeping in mind the opposition.
  • Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran ha put up 256 runs opening partnership for Afghanistan against Sri Lanka previously and have been doing well in the last year.
  • Ibrahim Zadran has done well in this format and already has 4 ODI hundreds in his short career. He scored 75 runs in the last game will be a key pick for this match.
  • Maheesh Theekshana picked up 2 wickets in the opening match against Bangladesh and will be a key bowler considering there are a couple of left handers in the opposition.
  • Rashid Khan went wicket less in the previous match but is undoubtably one of the best bowler from Afghanistan. Back him as captain in grand leagues.
  • Dasun Shanaka struggled a lot in this format recently and is batting lower down the order. Hence avoid him for this match.
  • Karim Janat did not have much of a role to play with both bat and ball in the last game and with plenty of better options he can be left out.
  • The surface here at Gadaffi Stadium is excellent for batting and pick more batters as compared to bowlers.
  • Kasun Rajitha went wicket less against Bangladesh and given Afghanistan have a strong top order you can expect them to play him out safely.
