Dale Steyn Picks Best Batsmen, Favourite Spell, Fast Bowlers with Best Bowling Action

Legendary pace bowler from South Africa – Dale Steyn has named the best batsmen he has faced across his career. With all the cricketing action at a halt, cricketers across the world are trying to keep their fans engaged through their social media. The latest name in this series is of the Proteas pacer Dale Steyn. Steyn recently took Twitter for a Q&A session with fans and answered the questions. During this session, Dale Steyn picked best batsmen, his favourite spell, and also the fast bowler with best bowling action.

When asked upon who is the best batsman he has ever played against, South African quick named Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid from India, former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting, former English player Kevin Pietersen, and the Universe Boss Chris Gayle.

When a Twitter user asked Dale Steyn about the fast fast bowler with the perfect bowling action, the fiery fast bowler named fellow South African quick Kagiso Rabada. He also rated Australian quick Pat Cummins at the 2nd position.

“KG has probably the smoothest easiest action to generate pace. Pat C is also a close favorite.” – replied Steyn.

When asked about his best bowling spell, Steyn picked 2 bowling spells he has bowled. He chose the spell he bowled at Nagpur against India and the spell he bowled at Wanderers he bowled against Pakistan as his best spells.

In case you don’t know, In 2010, Dale Steyn picked 7 wickets for 51 runs in the Nagpur test on a flat pitch. Steyn picked 5 wickets after tea for 3 runs and India lost 6 wickets for 12 runs in the process.

In 2013, Steyn picked 6 wickets for 8 runs in the first innings of the test against Pakistan at Wanderers. The proteas dismissed Pakistan for their lowest ever score in tests of 49.
