Haider Ali slams a massive six

The third T20I between England and Pakistan witnessed the much-awaited International debut of the young Pakistan batsman Haider Ali. Aged just 19, Haider announced his entry to the international arena with a massive six in just the second ball he faced. The incident happened in the second over of the match, when he furiously launched the fourth ball of Moeen Ali’s first over above long-on. It was quite an astonishing shot for a debutant. He sat down on his knees and launched the ball with full power into the stands.

He was to make his International debut in the Test series against England, but an unexpected COVID positive result delayed his entry to the international stage. With impressive performances in the U-19 World Cup and the PSL, he was knocking the doors of the senior team for quite some time now.
