HB-W vs MR-W Dream11 Team Prediction of WBBL: Preview | Meg Phillips ruled out

Hello and Welcome to our preview for Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Renegades match. We are covering HB-W vs MR-W Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Women’s Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Junction Oval.

Hobart Hurricanes are on the bottom of the points table with two wins and eleven losses. They lost their last match to Adelaide Strikers by 24 runs. Bowling first, Hepburn and Knight took two wickets each to restrict Strikers at 165. Chasing the target, Heather Knight played a good knock of 55 runs and was supported by Redmayne and Daffara but could not chase the target and were left behind by 24 runs. They will hope to end the poor season on a good note by performing well in their last match.

Melbourne Renegades are fourth on the points table with six wins and five losses. They lost their last match to Sydney Thunder by 6 wickets. Batting first, They gave a target of 140 to Thunder with help of an impressive knock of 59 runs from Danielle Wyatt. In response, Thunder chased the target easily. M Brown, Tahuhu and Molineux were able to take a wicket each. They will hope to put their best effort in the last two matches to keep their chances of qualifications alive.

They have declared 13 women squad for the match. Meg Phillips has been removed from the squad.

Erin Fazackerley is likely to replace Meg Phillips in the playing XI. Katelyn Fryett also has a slight chance to come in the XI.

Smriti Mandhana and Erin Fazackerley/G Redmayne will open the innings. Heather Knight, Corinne Hall and S Daffara will follow them.

Brooke Hepburn and Veronica Pyke will be the key pacers while Sasha Moloney, A Hartley and H Knight will lead the spin attack.

Melbourne Renegades:

They have announced 14 women squad for tomorrow’s encounter. Anna Lanning has been added to the squad.

Danielle Wyatt and Sophie Molineux can open the innings. J Duffin, A Satterthwaite, C Kioski and E Inglis will follow them.

G Wareham, Sophie Molineux and M Strano will be the key spinners along with Amy Satterthwaite while M Brown and L Tuhahu will spearhead the pace attack.

T Vlaeminck is ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

No changes are expected in their playing XI.
