The first semi-final of CSA T20 Challenge will be played tomorrow between Highveld Lions and Dolphins at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Lions finished at the top of the table with five wins in total after clinching two in the last two encounters. They thrashed Titans – the defending champions by 4 wickets in the last encounters and would be eyeing the final spot with a win over Dolphins.
Dolphins, on the opposite, are placed fourth in the table with three wins and three defeats in ten outings. The rest of the four encounters ended in a no result due to rain playing spoilsport. Interestingly, Dolphins have also managed wins in their last two encounters and will be eyeing for their third win in the row to book a place in the finals. The final of the tournament will be played on Sunday, May 05. The venue for which is yet to be decided.
The second semi-final of the tournament will be played in the night between the second-placed – Warriors and third-placed – Cape Cobras at Buffalo Park, East London.
