Hello and Welcome to our preview for Central Stags vs Canterbury Kings match. We are covering CD vs CTB Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

Central Stags are gaining the heat and are making the constant upward movement. They are currently tied at the second place with ten points (two wins, two losses from five games) but net run rate puts them down to the third spot. Canterbury Kings have struggled and have won only one out of their four matches.

The Stags picked up an impressive 54-run victory over Otago Volts in their last match. Will Young, Foxcroft and Tom Bruce all went past 40 and Clarkson’s 27 from 7 balls helped them get to 208/7. Ben Wheeler’s 4/26 and Tickner’s 2/21 completed the win. Bruce is having an excellent season whereas we are yet to see George Worker raise a big score.

Canterbury Kings suffered a close-loss despite scoring 193/5 in their first innings. 67 from Chad Bowes and 45 from Andrew Ellis were the major knocks. Ellis grabbed three wickets with the ball as well but the Kings lost by two wickets in the last over.

Central Stags:

They have declared their 12-man squad for the home game. Doug Bracewell returns after the spectacular performance against SL in the T20I so does Seth Rance.

George Worker and Will Young shall open the innings. Dean Foxcroft was promoted to the number three slot in the last match and he scored a fine 56 (41) so he will continue with the batting position.

Bruce, Clarkson and Wicketkeeper Dane Cleaver form the middle order. Doug Bracewell will replace Noema-Barnett. Willem Ludick is also likely to be dropped.

Ben Wheeler, Seth Rance and Blair Tickner compose the pace attack while Ajaz Patel leads the spin department.

Canterbury Kings:

The Kings receive a welcome boost in the form of Todd Astle and Matt Henry.

Tom Latham and Chad Bowes will be the opening partners. S Murdoch follows the pair. Captain McConchie, who averages 50-plus in the tournament, bats at number four.

Andrew Ellis, Cam Fletcher (wicketkeeper) and Leo Carter are the lower middle order.

Todd Astle will be the sole spinner. Jamieson-Henry-Nuttall is the speed trio.
