Hello and Welcome to our preview for Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers match. We are covering PS-W vs AS-W Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Women’s Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Albrecht Oval, Alice Springs.

Perth Scorchers lost yesterday’s crucial encounter against Adelaide Strikers and have lost any chance to qualify for the knockout stage. Batting first, Sophie Devine continued her form scoring 59 runs to lead the team to a total of 138. Suzie Bates and B Patterson also made handy contributions. Heather Graham was positive with the ball for Scorchers taking two scalps. In response, Scorchers failed to chase the target and collapsed at 108 runs with Lauren Ebsary being a top performer for her 38 run knock. Sarah Coyte and Danielle Hazell starred with the ball taking three scalps each while Megan Schutt took two wickets in the defense.

Both the teams nearly missed out the playoffs and will be motivated to end the season on a good note. Scorchers will hope to bounce back and defeat Adelaide Strikers.

They have declared unchanged 14 women squad for the match.

Nicole Bolton is not a part of the squad as she has taken an indefinite leave from cricket due to personal reasons.

Elyse Villani and Meg Lanning will open the innings. Amy Jones, Heather Graham and Lauren Ebsary will follow them.

Heather Graham, Hayley Jensen and Piepa Cleary will lead the pace attack along with Kate Cross. Emma King will be the key spinner.

Mathilda Carmichael can be a like-to-like replacement for Bhavi Devchand and can be given a chance.

Megan Banting has been part of the squad for many matches but did not got any game time and can finally be given a chance in their last match replacing Chloe Piparo.

Adelaide Strikers:

They have declared unchanged 13 women squad for tomorrow’s encounter.

Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine will open the innings. Tahlia Mcgrath, Bridget Patterson and Tegan McPharlin will follow them.

Megan Schutt, Alex Price, Tahlia Mcgrath, S Devine and Sarah Coyte will be the key pacers while A Wellington and D Hazell will lead the spin attack.

No changes are expected in their playing XI.
