Having won the 50-over One Day series 3-0, India Women A team will look to keep the momentum going in the shortest form of the game, as they play hosts Bangladesh Women A in the first T20 match at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox Bazar.
The gulf between the two sides was clear, with Bangladesh’s young women hardly giving their counterparts any fight in the series. India Women’s performance looks even more commendable consdeirng it was Bangladesh’s home series, where the hosts played in familiar circumstances.

Bangladesh had to make a few changes for the T20 series. Star players Nigar Sultana Joty and Rumana Ahmed have both left for the more lucrative Women’s Big Bash League, and won’t be available for the tournament.
While Sharmin Akter Supta has been left out following a poor run in the 50-over series.
Mumta Hena Hasnat, Fariha Islam Trisna, and Sharmin Sultana have been brought in as a replacement for the above-mentioned players.
