Melbourne Stars are not having quite the tournament they might have hoped for. After two opening losses, they are searching for a win in the tournament. Out of their 4 matches, Heat have won two and lost two.

In their previous match against Perth, Faulkner and Beer bowled well to restrict Perth at 142. But the batting let them down with only Wright and Faulkner getting some runs. Eventually those weren’t enough, too.

Brisbane will like to forget their last match against Adelaide, where their batsmen failed miserably. Only silver lining for them was the bowling efforts of Josh Lalor and Yasir Shah, who bowled beautifully. Batsmen will have to step their game up, and they sure do have the firepower for that .
