Hello and Welcome to our preview for Otago Volts vs Auckland Aces match. We are covering OTG vs AUK Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the University Oval, Dunedin.

After beginning brilliantly with two impressive wins, Otago Volts have suffered the pain of defeats. Even their rivals here, Auckland, has spiraled into a losing spree of two matches. They are fourth and fifth in the points table respectively.

Otago faced an onslaught from the Central Stags in their last match as the opposition racked up 208/7. Jacob Duffy (2/24) and Nathan Smith (3/30) bowled brilliantly but to no avail. The batting collapsed to 84/7 but Wilson’s late 32 helped them to avoid a mammoth defeat.

Auckland, still a very good team without Munro and Guptill, gave a stupendous fight to the table toppers Northern Knights. McClenaghan and D Grobbelaar picked up three wickets each for Auckland. After failures at the top, Cachopa fought with 39. Somerville’s 16-ball 37 raised hopes but the match was lost.

Brad Wilson was kept at the ninth spot in the last match, after his 32 from 21 balls, he may open the batting with Hamish Rutherford. Otherwise, Shawn Hicks will be open.

Anaru Kitchen, Nathan Smith, Ben Raine are the all-rounders.

Josh Finnie and Ben Cox (wk) handle the lower middle order.

Michael Rippon is the spinner while Jacob Duffy and Matthew Bacon should be the pace pair.

Auckland Aces:

They have announced the 12-man squad for the match. Martin Guptill and Colin Munro return to the squad after Sri Lanka T20I. Glenn Phillips is added as well, he was in reserves for the T20I.

Martin Guptill and Colin Munro will open for the Aces. Both have been amongst the runs.

Glenn Phillips will bat at three. Chapman, Cachopa and Robert O’Donnell complete the middle order. Grobbelaar bats at number seven.

Ronnie Hira and Will Somerville will be the two spinners while McClenaghan and Quinn shall share the new ball.
