Virender Sehwag names his quarantine partners and they are not Tendulkar or Ganguly

With the Global pandemic coronavirus taking over the globe, the term ‘quarantine partner’ has taken over the internet.  As people are getting isolated in their homes and spending time in quarantine, the term ‘quarantine partners’ is trending over social media. Many celebrities have participated in this new trend and named the people they would like to spend the time in quarantine with. The latest name in this list is of former India opener Virender Sehwag as the explosive batsmen revealed the name of two players as his ‘quarantine partners.’

Sehwag surprises fans by not naming Ganguly or Sachin

With an idea to spend some time, Virender Sehwag was interacting with fans on social media in a live Q&A session. During the interaction, a fan asked the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ about his quarantine partners.

Sehwag left his fans and followers surprised with his answer. Many were predicting that Sehwag would pick two of either Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, and Gautam Gambhir as he shares a great rapport with all 3 players. However, Sehwag chose Zaheer Khan and former cricketer Ajay Jadeja as his quarantine partners.

During the session, Viru also revealed that he is enjoying his time home by playing PlayStation with kids.

As quoted by India Today –

“They can’t beat me on field in any sports and that is why they are inviting me for a PS4 game lately, they want to beat me there and tease me later,”

What’s Next?

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, all the international and domestic cricket fixtures have already been canceled. The ICC and all the cricket boards have prioritized safety over cricket at the moment. While the ICC is pondering over the future of ICC T20 World Cup 2020, the BCCI has postponed the Indian Premier League 2020.
